Meet our staff

Pastor, Kim Nofel

I love sharing stories of faith, studying scripture, preaching, praying, fellowshipping and creating Christ-filled relationships with sisters and brothers in faith of all ages. I graduated from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs and got my ministry degree at Union Theological Seminary in Virginia. Since then, I have served churches in Virginia, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, Maryland and now, back to Colorado. I also did my summer internships with the U.S. Air Force where I met my husband, Steve, who is also a Presbyterian Minister.

When asked what my emphasis in preaching is, I would say, "That God loves you. God is with you." I never want to forget why we do what we do in the Church. The whole reason for being is to know God and help others to know God. Reminding one another of God's love and

care and mercy and grace throughout human history and in our own lives, helps us to affirm that God continues to bring those things into our lives because our God has not changed, even though the world has. God's promise to love us and be with us until the end of time is still true.
