What a great day it was at the Sixth Annual Chariots of Fire Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show. Great motor vehicles, great food, great music and great weather combined for a truly wonderful summer outing. The car that ran away with the show was a 1970 Excalibur, owned by Clark Hagan, which won 1st Place in the Classic Car category and took Best in Show overall. Other winners included a 1951 Willys Pickup owned by Neal Neubauer (1st Place Classic Trucks); a 1968 Chevy Camaro owned by Ben Harrison (1st Place Hot Rods); and a 1964 Sears Roebuck 250 cc Motorcycle owned by Mike Schroder (1st Place Motorcycles). Donations at the free BBQ lunch table totaled $1,371 which goes to the EPC Deacon fund for families in need in the community. So a great, big thank-you is in order for all the great participants and volunteers who made this a perfect day.
