Who We Are

No matter your walk of life, whether you're a rancher, farmer, business person, student, teacher, laborer, artist or retiree – Jesus walks with you. This is a reality. Maybe you're not aware of his presence yet. Maybe you've accepted him as your savior but he doesn't seem real or alive to you. Come to Elizabeth Presbyterian Church. Be a part of our fellowship. Worship, pray and work among us. And it won't be long before you start to recognize him. Come as you are. Bring whatever joys or troubles are part of your life right now, bring an open heart, and you'll see you're not alone.

Elizabeth Presbyterian Church exists to help people meet and walk with Jesus in the three primary ways explained below.

  • Spiritual transformation

Once a person has accepted Christ as savior, the walk has only just begun. Walking alongside Jesus, we learn from him and we change to become more like him. We grow in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. We become more loving. We don't lose ourselves, we just become the person God wants us to be and, as it turns out, we become the person we always wanted to be. This is a journey we're all taking together, and each of us is at a different point along the path. Jesus is our guide.

  • authentic community

God loves everybody. Everybody. No matter who you are, what you do, what you wear, what you look like, or what baggage you're carrying around, Jesus loves you. And you are welcome in his house. We don't always do it perfectly like Jesus did, but we're committed to accepting everybody just as they are, and to loving and helping one another any way we can.

  • compassionate outreach

The more we are transformed into the likeness of Christ, and the more we are committed to one another in authentic community, the more we realize how great is God's love for all people and how much it hurts him to see his people in such desperate need. And so we reach out – to people in the Elizabeth Community, to people around the Denver region, and to people around the globe. To see the ministries we support outside the church, click here.
